Shigemi Susceptibility Matched NMR Tubes
Shigemi’s unique susceptibility matched tubes can reduce the sample volume down to 1/3 by minimizing the susceptibility gradients occurring at the solvent-air interface.
Susceptibility matched tubes are special NMR sample tubes designed to reduce magnetic susceptibility differences between the tube wall and the sample inside. Magnetic susceptibility mismatches can distort the magnetic field homogeneity, leading to line broadening and reduced spectral resolution in NMR experiments. By matching the susceptibility of the tube wall material with that of the sample (often aqueous solutions), these tubes minimise distortions and improve data quality.
