Zeiss MEL80
The ZEISS MEL 80 is a 193 nm argon-fluoride (ArF) excimer laser developed by Carl Zeiss Meditec for corneal refractive surgery, particularly LASIK. It uses a 250 Hz flying-spot laser with a small 0.7 mm Gaussian spot and a 250 Hz infrared eye tracker to monitor and compensate for eye movement during treatment.
The system incorporates galvanometric scanners, an infrared eye-tracking camera, operating microscope, debris-removal system (CCA+), laser optics and integrated control electronics.
