Alcon / WaveLight EX500
The WaveLight EX500 is a 193 nm argon-fluoride (ArF) excimer laser from Alcon designed for corneal refractive surgery, including LASIK and PRK. It operates at 500 Hz and incorporates a 1050 Hz eye tracker with approximately 2 ms tracking latency. The system supports wavefront-optimized, topography-guided and ray-tracing-guided treatment planning within the WaveLight Refractive Suite.
